David M. Huey, OD Dr. David M. Huey is a graduate of the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He has been in practice in Altus for over 16 years and has been a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians for over 20 years.
He is a Past President & Kiwanian of the Year for the Altus Kiwanis Club, a member of First Baptist Church, a former member of the Gifted & Talented Advisory Committee of Altus Public Schools, and enjoys playing lead alto saxophone in a local big band 'All That Jazz - A Big Band Experience'.
Dr. Huey is also a Past Chairman of the Altus Armed Services YMCA Board. He was the 2004-06 Honorary Commander of the 55th Air Refueling Squadron at Altus Air Force Base, 2006-08 Honorary Commander of the 97th Medical Group, and is currently the Honorary Commander of the 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron. He was recently appointed Chairman of the Health Advisory Committee of Head Start (SOCAG).
Prior to attending optometry school, Dr. Huey taught biology, science, and instrumental music in Oklahoma and New Mexico. Dr. Huey had LASIK performed on his eyes June 18, 1999 by Dr. Brad Britton of TLC Oklahoma City. Check them out at www.tlcvision.com.

Michele BrownMichele is our insurance coordinator. She works part-time in the office with the remainder of her work week spent in a local accounting office. Michele is married and lives in Altus.
Sarah YbarraSarah handles our optical dispensary and will help you select the best frame for you.
Angela VillalbaAngela is our exam assistant and will perform pretesting prior to you seeing the doctor. She is bilingual speaking both English and Spanish.
Maggie ReichMaggie is our receptionist and is would be very happy to assist in scheduling an appointment for you or a family member. Originally from Indiana, Maggie worked in an optometry office before moving to Altus.
