Our Practice
David M. Huey, OD Dr. David M. Huey is a graduate of the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma - http://arapaho.nsuok.edu/~optometry/index2.html. He has been in practice in Altus - www.cityofaltus.org - for over 15 years. He has been a member of the American Optometric Association - www.aoa.org - and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians - www.oaop.org - for over 18 years. He is a Past President of the Altus Kiwanis Club - www.altuskiwanis.org, a member of First Baptist Church - www.fbcaltus.org, a former member of the Gifted & Talented Advisory Committee of Altus Public Schools - www.altusschools.k12.ok.us, and plays lead alto saxophone in a local big band "All That Jazz - A Big Band Experience" - www.bigbandjazz.net. Dr. Huey is also Immediate Past Chairman of the Altus Armed Services YMCA Board - www.asymca.org. He was the 2004-06 Honorary Commander of the 55th Air Refueling Squadron at Altus Air Force Base recently being promoted to Honorary Commander of the 97th Medical Group - www.altus.af.mil/units. He was recently appointed Chairman of the Health Advisory Committee of the SW OK Community Action Group (SOCAG) - www.geocities.com/socag2004/index.htm. Prior to attending optometry school, Dr. Huey taught biology, science, and instrumental music in Oklahoma and New Mexico.

Jenny Speer Jennifer Speer works in the office part-time. She is originally from Mississippi but calls Altus home because of the USAF. Her husband is in the 97th OSS at Altus Air Force Base.
